about Oslo Drag Festival.

about Oslo Drag Festival.

The Oslo Drag Festival is Norway's inaugural and sole event dedicated to drag and the Norwegian drag scene. The festival is inclusive and will take place for the fourth time from May 31st to June 1st, 2024, at SALT Art & Music.

During these two days, attendees can expect innovative, entertaining, and sometimes provocative performances and activities, including drag shows, concerts, stand-up comedy, children and youth shows, workshops, lectures, panel discussions, and more.

Featuring contributions from over 50 performing drag artists, both professionals and amateurs, the festival aims to contribute to the professionalization of the drag field, cultural exchange, and public education across diverse audience groups. Drag is an important form of performance art that creates safe spaces for queer expressions. The festival seeks to promote and protect queer art, fostering a home for diversity, inclusive communities, and queer experiences.
