The Black Excellence Cabaret began in 2022 in Bristol, UK. The show was created as there was a lack of diversity among the Drag Community of Black and POC artists, especially outside the capital city. Therefore, House of Mannington wanted to showcase the talent that is available in the Cabaret world, who were often overlooked. They ensure to uplift Black POC Drag Kings, Drag Monsters, Drag Queens and Drag Things. That support is not just on stage, but off stage; The Black Excellence Cabaret utilises local artists for poster creation, Black and POC photographers, and provides opportunities for all who want to learn the craft of producing. So come and witness the warm and welcoming experience of the Black Excellence Cabaret.

This is a show created to celebrate and uplift Black and POC drag performers and the amazing talent they have to offer. The show prides itself in mixing the importance of our unique culture and heritage and sharing this with the wider community. Expect to see high energy performances, amazing costumes and of course...EXCELLENCE
