The Frida Marida Show – Am I a Drag?
When: Saturday, May 31 at 18:00.
Where: Langhuset, SALT Art & Music, Langkaia 1, Oslo.
Tickets: 350 NOK regular, 250 NOK student.
Is this Frida Marida’s last drag show? Now living full-time as Frida, she faces a question: Am I still a drag artist?
Through music, dance, and bold performances, she explores identity, transformation, and the freedom to exist beyond labels. Featuring original songs and reimagined international hits with a Middle Eastern twist, this show takes the audience on a journey of self-discovery—by the end, will Frida still be a drag performer, or is this her final act?
Electronic music triggers hiding bare nipples, percussions played on hips and thighs, and costumes that produce sound—it’s a sensory explosion! The Frida Marida Show is a fusion of music, technology, dance, and storytelling. The title emphasizes that this is not an alter ego—it’s THE real Frida Marida, fully and completely. With live music featuring four musicians, and guest co-stars Cvntess and Cyber Candy, multilingual songs, and theatrical burlesque moments along with live music, this performance defies all expectations.
A wild mix of music, drag, and immersive visuals! The audience will witness brand-new songs and reinvented classics in Arabic, English, French, Norwegian, and Ukrainian—all woven into a deeply personal narrative. Expect unexpected instruments, mesmerizing dance, and thought-provoking moments that challenge norms. And by the end, one question will be answered—is this Frida Marida’s last drag show?
